The BYD Sealion 7 EV is BYD’s coupe electric SUV that is set to make its India debut at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo 2025, which is taking place between January 17 and 22 in Delhi.
BYD has confirmed its plan to launch the Sealion 7 EV in the Indian market in the first quarter of 2025 (Q1, 2025). We will catch the first glimpse of the India-spec model at the auto show.
The Sealion 7 EV packs a battery pack capacity of up to 91.30kWh that channels power to two electric motors, making the Sealion 7 EV an all-wheel-drive SUV. The specifications of the India-spec Sealion EV are under the wraps at this point.
The key features include a swiveling 15.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital driver’s display, a glass panoramic sunroof, LED headlights and tail lights, 360-degree parking camera, surround sound system and more.
In addition to the Sealion 7 EV, BYD India will also showcase other global products and future concepts at the auto show. We expect to see the Atto 2, Denza D9 SUV and Bao 3 SUV at the auto show along with other future models.
