Closely following the launch of the Kia Carens Clavis, the South Korean carmaker is ready to launch an electric version of the MPV in India in a couple of weeks.
As revealed in an Instagram post by the carmaker, the Carens Clavis EV range is claimed to be 490 kilometres, as per the MIDC cycles.
The Carens Clavis EV gets the 51.4kWh battery pack from the Hyundai Creta Electric. It is also likely to get the smaller 42kWh battery pack.
As seen in the post, the Clavis EV gets an almost identical design as that of the Clavis ICE, except for a tweaked front face with a charging port, and differently-styled wheels.
The dashboard has also been carried over from the ICE Clavis. There’s a new floating centre console, and visible features include ambient lighting, dual-screen setup on the dash, panoramic sunroof, and more.
The Kia Carens Clavis EV India launch will happen on July 15, 2025, and it is expected to be priced northwards of Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).
