The next-gen Maruti Suzuki Dzire is expected to launch on November 4, 2024, with a redesigned exterior, floating infotainment screen, 6 airbags, and more. It’s expected to come with a new 1.2L Z-series petrol engine, paired with a 5-speed manual or AMT, along with a CNG option with a 5-speed manual. Prices are expected to start at Rs 7 lakh and go up to Rs 12.5 lakh.
The upcoming Maruti Suzuki eVX is set to be the brand's first electric vehicle, expected to launch in India next year. It will likely offer two battery options: a 60 kWh and a smaller 48 kWh version, with a range of up to 550 km. The starting price is anticipated to be around Rs. 20 lakh.
The launch of the 7-seater Grand Vitara in India is expected to happen next year. While it may feature familiar design cues from the current Grand Vitara, there will still be some updates. It is expected to come equipped with a 1.5-litre K15C mild-hybrid petrol engine and a 1.5-litre strong hybrid petrol engine. Prices for this model are anticipated to start from around Rs 15 lakh.
Maruti Suzuki is also working on introducing the Fronx Hybrid model in India, which will feature a strong hybrid system paired with a 1.2-litre petrol engine.
