Jeep India has introduced the new Trail Edition for the Compass and Meridian SUVs to revive interest in its lineup. The Compass Trail Edition is priced at Rs 25.41 lakh for the diesel manual and Rs 27.41 lakh for the diesel automatic, ex-showroom, New Delhi.
The Compass Trail Edition gets subtle cosmetic updates including bonnet and side body decals, matte black grille accents, and Neutral Grey touches on elements like grille rings, roof rail inserts, and badges. It also features red highlights on the front lower fascia and rides on gloss-finished dual-tone 18-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the SUV sports black leatherette upholstery with red stitching on the seats, steering wheel, and gear lever. Red mid-bolster accents on the dashboard and Trail Edition all-weather floor mats add to the sporty appeal. The edition is based on the Longitude (O) variant and comes loaded with features like dual-zone AC, touchscreen infotainment with wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay and more.
The Compass Trail Edition is offered solely with a 170PS 2.0-litre diesel engine, available with both manual and automatic transmission options, whereas higher variants also offer the option of 4x4.
Along with the special edition, Jeep has launched the ‘Jeep Trust’ ownership program. It includes a complimentary 3-year annual maintenance contract, a 5-year extended warranty, and a direct cash benefit of Rs 20,000, aiming to enhance the overall ownership experience for new buyers.
