Jeep India has introduced the Meridian Trail Edition to take on rising competition from rivals like the Skoda Kodiaq and Volkswagen Tiguan R Line. Prices for the Meridian Trail Edition start at Rs 31.27 lakh for the diesel manual, Rs 35.27 lakh for the diesel automatic, and Rs 37.27 lakh for the diesel automatic 4x4 variant (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
The Meridian Trail Edition features a signature hood decal, Trail Edition badging, and a high-gloss black roof. It gets Neutral Grey accents across key elements like the grille, roof rails, and side cladding, along with Piano Black highlights on the fog lamp surrounds, lightbar molding, and ORVMs. Rugged skid plates, red front fascia accents, and Trail-themed scuff plates enhance its off-road stance.
Inside, the SUV gets high-contrast black vinyl upholstery with ruby red accents, camouflage-themed interior appliques, and piano black elements on the console and speaker surrounds. Based on the Limited (O) variant, it comes well-equipped with a 10.25-inch digital cluster, touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, electronic parking brake and more.
The Meridian Trail Edition is available with diesel manual, diesel automatic, and a newly added diesel automatic 4x4 drivetrain, previously exclusive to the top-end Overland trim. This addition makes 4x4 capability more accessible to buyers looking for rugged performance.
Like the Compass Trail Edition, the Meridian Trail Edition is also bundled with Jeep's Trust ownership program, which includes a 3-year annual maintenance contract. The Compass Trail Edition also gets a 5-year extended warranty and a Rs 20,000 cash benefit.
