Honda Cars India has teased the upcoming City Sport Edition with the tagline “Ready for a Sportier Life.” The teaser hints at a design-focused update, without any mechanical enhancements to boost performance.
The City Sport Edition is likely to get piano black elements on the grille, bumpers, ORVMs, and boot lip spoiler. It may also feature Sport badging, new alloy wheels, and red brake calipers to enhance its sporty appearance.
Inside, the cabin may get an all-black dashboard with red inserts and piano black accents. Seats are expected to have black upholstery with red stitching. Dealer-level additions like ambient lighting and leatherette door padding may be included.
There will be no changes to the engine. It will continue with the 1.5-litre petrol engine producing 121PS and 145Nm, paired with either a 6-speed manual or CVT. The hybrid e:HEV variant is unlikely to be offered.
The City Sport Edition is expected to launch in the coming weeks. It may be based on higher trims of the standard model and priced slightly above them.
