The Honda City Sport features subtle exterior upgrades, including a blacked-out radiator grille, gunmetal 16-inch alloy wheels, black ORVMs, shark-fin antenna, and "Sport" branding on the boot. As expected, no mechanical changes are offered with the Sport.
Inside, the City Sport receives more noticeable changes: an all-black dashboard with red inserts, black leatherette seats with red stitching, a black headliner, and red-stitched soft-touch panels on the dashboard and door cards.
Based on the City V variant, the Sport edition retains all its features and adds configurable ambient lighting. Key features include Level-2 ADAS, LED tail lamps, 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay and paddle shifters.
Despite the sporty branding, the City Sport retains the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 121PS and 145Nm. It is offered only with a CVT gearbox, disappointing enthusiasts who prefer a manual transmission.
Priced at Rs 14.89 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi), the City Sport commands a Rs 50,000 premium over the City V. However, the lack of mechanical upgrades makes it more of a cosmetic refresh than a true performance-oriented variant.
