Hyundai has introduced the SX+ variant of the Verna in India, priced at Rs 13.79 lakh for the manual and Rs 15.04 lakh for the CVT automatic (ex-showroom, New Delhi). This variant is positioned between the SX and SX(O) trims.
The Verna SX+ brings several premium features from the top-end trims, including LED headlamps, an eight-speaker Bose sound system, ventilated and heated front seats, leatherette upholstery, and front parking sensors.
The Verna now supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay through a newly introduced adapter. This USB Type-A adapter, initially rolled out with the Alcazar, is being gradually made available across Hyundai’s lineup.
The SX+ variant is offered with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine delivering 115PS and 144Nm, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic. Turbo-petrol options remain exclusive to higher variants.
The Verna SX+ provides a strong value-for-money proposition by offering top-spec features at a lower price point. For buyers open to alternatives, pre-owned higher-spec Verna models at CARS24 could offer similar benefits with added savings.
