Mahindra revealed a set of four concept SUVs at this year’s Independence Day — Vision S, Vision X, Vision T, and Vision SXT.
The Vision SXT is a pickup version of the Vision T, which will join the Mahindra Thar lineup of SUVs when launched.
The SXT borrows most of its design cues from the Vision T concept, except for a flatbed that features two spare tyres, and a differently styled six slat front grille.
The interior is almost identical to that of the Vision T, too. There’s a different colour theme though. The centre console gets a large portrait oriented touchscreen with physical buttons further down, and a fancy gear lever.
The Vision SXT is based on Mahindra’s new NU_IQ platform that supports ICE, electric, and hybrid powertrains, with capability of accommodating both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations.
Mahindra is yet to announce the official launch date for the Vision SXT concept, though we don’t expect it to be here before the end of 2027.
