Sold as the Commander in the South American markets, Jeep has updated its family SUV with a mid-lifecycle facelift, featuring small cosmetic updates inside and out.
While its proportions remain the same, the updated Meridian features revised LED headlights, updated 7-slat grille, a new set of alloy wheels and connected LED tail lights at the rear.
On the inside, the Jeep Meridian facelift retains its dashboard layout and feature set. However, some variants now come with a rotary gear selector in place of a conventional stick lever.
Due to low demand, Jeep has discontinued the 5-seat variants with the updated model, leaving the SUV with the 7-seater configuration only.
Jeep is struggling to stay afloat with its existing lineup of cars, which are somewhat outdated compared to competition. The Meridian facelift is likely to be launched in India, however, there is no word on its launch timeline yet.
