The Kia Carens Clavis EV is currently India’s most affordable electric MPV, starting at Rs 17.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Initially launched as a 7-seater, Kia is now introducing a 6-seater variant to broaden its appeal.
Kia will offer the 6-seater configuration only in the top-spec HTX+ ER variant, featuring captain chairs with recline and tumble function in the second row. This move is based on customer feedback post-launch.
The EV comes equipped with V2L capability, Level-2 ADAS with 20 functions, dual-screen infotainment setup, blind-spot monitors, Bose 8-speaker system, boss mode, ventilated front seats, and more, ensuring high comfort and safety.
The Clavis EV offers 135PS and 171PS motor options with 42kWh and 51.4kWh battery packs (from Creta Electric). It delivers a range of 404km to 490km, accelerates 0–100kmph in 8.4 seconds, and supports 100kW DC fast charging (10–80% in 39 min) along with 7.4kW/11kW AC home charging.
