After the recent unveiling of the Kia Carens Clavis, the carmaker has discontinued all previous variants of the Carens except one – the Premium (O) variant. Earlier, the Carens was available in nine different trims.
The only variant now available is the Premium (O), which comes as standard with a 7-seater layout. This streamlining significantly reduces available choices in terms of features and transmission options.
The 2025 Carens Premium (O) is offered with three engine options: 1.5-litre petrol manual – Rs 11.41 lakh, 1.5-litre turbo petrol iMT – Rs 12.65 lakh and 1.5-litre diesel manual – Rs 13.26 lakh. It no longer offers an automatic transmission option.
The Carens Premium (O) includes key safety and convenience features such as: Six airbags, ESC, all four disc brakes, 8.0-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay and one-touch tumble second-row seats.
Several high-end features are not available in this variant, including ventilated seats, larger touchscreen, ambient lighting, cruise control, and a TFT instrument cluster.
