Mahindra Auto sold a total of 87,839 vehicles in September 2024. This includes sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles for both domestic and international markets. Read the next slides to know more about the sales trends for Mahindra Auto.
When compared to the data from August 2024, Mahindra saw a 15.1% growth in domestic vehicle sales while the exports saw a marginal fall of 1.1%. The net M-o-M growth for Mahindra stood at 14.4%.
Mahindra witnessed a net growth of 16.2% in September 2024 as compared to the same month last year. Domestic sales in this period grew by 15.9% while exports rose by a good 25.1%.
Talking just about the passenger vehicle sales, Mahindra saw a 24% domestic growth as compared to last year, selling 51,062 SUVs over 41,267 units sold in September 2023. Exports accounted for another 1,528 units, taking the total count up to 52,590 units.
Mahindra saw a 5.7% net growth for commercial vehicle sales, which includes the sales of LCVs, MHCVs, as well as 3-wheelers, both ICE and electric. While the sales for LCV < 2T and LCV 2T - 3.5T saw a 13% decline and a 3% decline respectively, the sale for LCV > 3.5T + MHCV and 3-wheelers grew by 25% and 27% respectively.
