Mahindra plans to expand the XEV 9e electric SUV lineup with two new variants: Pack Three 59kWh and Pack Three Select 79kWh, offering customers more choices across different price brackets.
The XEV 9e is currently available in four variants: Pack One, Pack Two, Pack Three Select, and Pack Three, with only the Pack Three variant using the larger 79kWh battery. Others come with a 59kWh battery.
Pack Three 59kWh: To offer a fully-loaded experience similar to the existing Pack Three but at a more affordable price due to the smaller battery. Pack Three Select 79kWh: To match the feature list of the Select variant but include the larger battery for improved range.
Mahindra is working on an AWD version of the XEV 9e, positioned as a competitor to the Tata Harrier EV. It will leverage the dual-motor capability of Mahindra’s INGLO platform.
While significant performance changes are not expected, the AWD version may include features like terrain modes and a transparent bonnet, enhancing its off-road capabilities and overall tech appeal.
