The XUV700 is one of the most popular Mahindra SUVs in India, thanks to the package that it offers for the price. The ongoing model was launched back in 2021.
Media reports suggest that Mahindra is working on a facelifted version of the XUV700 that is expected to launch sometime in 2026.
The 2026 Mahindra XUV700 Facelift is expected to take design cues from the Mahindra BE 6 and Mahindra XEV 9e electric SUVs, featuring sharper lines and square wheel arches.
We also expect a wider set of standard features to be offered on the SUV, especially in terms of safety. Mahindra might also throw in another touchscreen for the passenger, like the one in the XEV 9e.
There’s no change expected on this front. Current powertrain options include a 2.2-litre diesel engine with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic, and 2.0-litre turbo-petrol with the same set of gearboxes.
The current model of the XUV700 is priced between Rs 14.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and Rs 25.14 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Expect the facelift to start from Rs 15 lakh due to the additional features and styling changes that it might see.
