Indian car sales figures for the month of April 2025 are out, and Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra, and Tata have emerged as the top three mass market manufacturers, leaving Hyundai to the fourth spot.

Mahindra, Toyota, Kia, Skoda, and MG have recorded handsome YoY growth, while MSIL also saw a slight increase. Tata, Hyundai, Honda, Volkswagen, Renault, Nissan, Citroen, and Jeep saw declining sales trends.
Mahindra and MG were the only two carmakers that saw a positive MoM growth, while all other manufacturers witnessed negative month-on-month growth.
India’s largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki, lost 1.7% of its market share, while Mahindra expanded its by 2.6%. Other gainers included Toyota, Kia, Skoda, and MG, while losers included Tata, Hyundai, Honda, Volkswagen, Renault, Nissan, Citroen, and Jeep.
