Maruti Suzuki cars sales have recorded a positive year-on-year growth in April 2025, with 179,791 units sold compared to 168,089 units in the same month last year. However, there was a slight dip in the M-O-M growth.
Maruti Suzuki's total domestic sales from passenger vehicles and Light Commercial Vehicles stood at 142,053 units in April 2025, slightly up from 140,448 units sold in the same month last year.
A steady sales growth has been seen as sales to the OEM reached 9,827 units, compared to 5,481 units in April 2024.
Maruti Suzuki's total export sales reached 27,911 units, showing a growth of 5,751 units compared to the previous year. In April 2024, export sales were 22,160 units, reflecting a smooth increase in performance.
Looking at the month-on-month growth, Maruti Suzuki's total sales from both domestic and export markets were 192,984 units in March. In contrast, total sales for April 2025 were 179,791 units, showing a decline of approx 6.8%.
In April 2025, Maruti Suzuki recorded the following sales across different categories: 6,332 units in the mini category, 61,591 units in the compact category, 321 units in the mid-size category, 59,022 units of utility vehicles, 11,438 units in the vans category, and 3,349 units of light commercial vehicles.
