Mercedes-Benz India has made six recalls so far this year, encompassing a wide range of cars and SUVs across powertrain options and variants.
The latest recall affects 30 cars, the details of which are in the table above. These include S-Classes, SLs, GLCs, and EQSes.
As cited on SIAM’s website, the reason for this recall is a potentially misworked fuse box that could cause connected systems to fail.
This could cause the vehicle to lose power without prior warning, and even cause the instrument cluster to malfunction. A risk of fire can’t be ruled out either.
Mercedes-Benz India is expected to call owners of the affected cars to rectify the issue, at no cost to the owners, of course.
