MG Motor India will launch the Cyberster electric convertible sports car on July 25, 2025, as the second model under its premium MG Select brand. Bookings opened earlier this year for Rs 51,000.
The Cyberster and M9 will retail through 14 exclusive MG Select dealerships across 13 cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune, Chennai, and more. MG plans to expand this network further.
The Cyberster features a 2-door convertible coupe design with powered scissor doors, LED headlamps, dual-tone alloys, and arrow-shaped tail lamps. Inside, it offers a tri-screen dashboard, 7-inch central touchscreen, sporty leather seats, and driver-focused layout.
The India-spec Cyberster gets the dual-motor setup delivering 510PS and 725Nm of torque. It uses a 77kWh battery offering 443km of range and can sprint from 0–100 kmph in 3.2 seconds.
We expect the MG Cyberster expected price to fall under Rs 70 lakh ex-showroom. While there are no direct rivals for the Cyberster in India, it will compete with the BMW Z4 and Mercedes-Benz CLE Cabriolet.
