MG Motor India has clocked an impressive year-on-year growth this June, posting a solid 21% rise compared to June 2024 sales. However, on a month-on-month basis, the sales numbers saw a slight dip, falling by 475 units.
In June 2025, MG car sales registered a strong performance with 5,829 units sold. In comparison, the same month last year saw a lower tally, with 1,185 fewer cars sold and a total of 4,644 units recorded.
As the end of June marks the close of the first half of 2025, MG has recorded total sales of 31,919 units during this period — a clear leap from its H1 2024 sales figure of 24,664. This strong performance reflects a solid 29.42% growth and highlights the brand’s rising momentum in the market.
Somewhere along the journey, the launch of the MG Windsor has turned out to be a successful model for MG India, helping reawaken its sales momentum. Among its current lineup, the MG Windsor EV stands out as one of the most popular models — having firmly made its mark in the EV market as a customer favourite.
As for the month on month growth, MG saw a 7.53% dip in June 2025, with 5,829 units sold — down from May’s higher figure of 6,304. Interestingly, April also recorded the exact same number as June at 5,829 units. Meanwhile, in January, Feb, and March, the sales stood at 4,455, 4,002, and 5,500 respectively.
