MG Motor India, now operating as JSW MG Motor India, reported a 23% year-on-year growth in April 2025. The company dispatched 5,829 units, up from 4,725 units in April 2024.
The Windsor EV remained the top-selling model for MG in April 2025. It significantly contributed to overall sales and has surpassed the 20,000-unit sales milestone in the Indian market.
MG plans to launch an updated Windsor EV with a larger battery pack between May 7 and 8, 2025. The new variant is expected to include advanced features like ADAS (adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection, auto emergency braking, etc.).
MG Motor India will debut its new premium sub-brand ‘MG Select’ with the launch of two electric vehicles: the Cyberster electric roadster and the M9 electric people mover, both first seen at the Bharat Mobility Global Auto Expo 2025.
The carmaker is also set to introduce the Majestor SUV, which will be a more premium, facelifted version of the current Gloster SUV, expanding MG’s premium offerings in India.
