Battery-as-a-platform (BaaS package)

Through the BaaS program, MG managed to keep the starting price under Rs 10 lakh—a big feat to achieve for a C-segment EV—even though the actual price is considerably higher, thereby increasing its popularity.

Attractive price, without BaaS too

Even if we keep the BaaS pricing aside, at Rs 13.99 lakh, the Windsor EV offers attractive value. In comparison to the Nexon EV, the Windsor EV comes out as a far bigger car that has its own share of bragging rights.

Feature loaded

A few of its features include a fixed glass roof, a floating touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, 9-speaker sound system, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting and a lot more.

Extending the appeal of the Windsor EV, MG also introduced the Windsor EV Pro, packing a larger battery pack with considerably more range than the standard model.
