The Windsor Pro will feature a larger battery pack, likely to be a 50kWh unit, up from the current 38kWh. This upgrade will offer a longer range, addressing previous concerns and competing with rivals like the Nexon EV and Creta Electric.
New features include ADAS tech, likely offering adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection, and emergency braking, enhancing safety and convenience.
The existing 136PS motor and 200Nm torque setup is expected to continue. The larger battery will mainly improve range, while the performance may also see a small jump.
Currently priced at Rs 14–16 lakh, the Windsor Pro will likely cost more due to its upgraded battery and added features.
The MG Windsor Pro will launch in India on May 6, 2025. Spy shots show the car undisguised, suggesting dealership dispatches have begun. Bookings are expected to start on the launch day.
