The 2025 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe is available in two variants—218 M Sport priced at Rs 46.90 lakh and 218 M Sport Pro at Rs 48.90 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
The updated design gives the car a sharper, more athletic presence with a compact front, distinctive ‘overbite’ grille, and sleek, peeled-back headlamps. A flowing roofline and sharply designed tail-lights at the rear give it a refined coupe-like silhouette.
The cabin is inspired by BMW’s higher-end sedans and features the brand’s new curved infotainment display with next-gen software. Ambient lighting strips react to temperature changes, adding to the high-tech feel.
Powering the Gran Coupe is a 1.5-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology. It produces 156PS and 230Nm, aided by a 20PS electric motor for quicker response. The car claims a 0–100 km/h time of 8.3 seconds. Currently, it's only offered with a petrol engine, though a diesel option may follow.
The 2 Series Gran Coupe continues to be one of BMW India’s most accessible offerings, aimed at buyers seeking entry into the luxury segment. It continues to lock its horns with the Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limo and the Toyota Camry.
