Most powerful Bentley car
Bentley has revealed the new updated Flying Spur, making it the most powerful Bentley four-door car ever. It is also for the first time that the Flying Spur has ditched the W12 engine for the same electric powertrain as the Continental GT.
In its latest iteration, the Flying Spur gets a 4.-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with plug-in hybrid tech which generates a combined power output of 782hp and 1,000 Nm of maximum torque. This engine is mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The plug-in hybrid setup gets a 25.9 kWh battery pack which offers a 76km electric-only and can be used up to speeds of 140km.
As per the claimed figures, the new Flying Spur can be charged under 3 hours with 11kW peak charging power.
To further enhance the driving experience, the new Flying Spur gets a Performance Active Chassis, with Bentley Dynamic Ride and an all-wheel steering wheel.
The new Flying Spur boasts multiple styling updates inclduing a larger front grille, revised front and rear bumpers, new rear diffuser and new 22-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the Flying Spur gets new seat upholstery, new 12.3-inch touchscreen, 10-speaker 650W sound system, and multiple interior colour schemes and materials to choose from.
