Ferrari India has officially revealed its newest supercar in India — the Ferrari 12Cilindri. Here are five things to know about this V12 monster.
Mounted at the front-mid position is a 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 petrol engine that has been tuned to produce 830PS of maximum power and 687Nm of peak torque. All the power is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Top speed is claimed to be exceeding 340kmph, with a 0-100kmph time of 2.9 seconds. The engine can rev up till 9,500rpm, with over 80% of the max torque available from as low as 2,500rpm.
There’s a long bonnet up front with two massive air outlets, a black panel inspired from the Ferrari 365 GTB4, 21-inch rims, active winglets at the rear, and lots of aerodynamic bits throughout.
The cockpit gets a set of three screens, gated-manual-inspired transmission controls, bucket seats, a Burmester sound system, capacitive controls on the steering wheel, and more.
Ferrari India has not yet disclosed the price of the supercar yet, though it is expected to start northwards of Rs 8 crore (ex-showroom) before any options and extras.
