The new Jeep Cherokee is the first model to use Stellantis’ hybrid setup, pairing a 1.6L turbo-petrol engine with two electric motors for a combined 213PS and 312Nm. It can deliver over 800 km on a single tank.
Equipped with Jeep Active Drive 4x4, the SUV offers four drive modes – Auto, Sport, Snow, Sand/Mud. Key off-road figures include 19.6° approach, 29.4° departure, 18.8° breakover angles, and 203mm ground clearance.
The exterior design of the new Jeep Cherokee features a rugged design that’s inline with larger Jeep SUVs. The interior features a black cabin with dual-tone dashboard, with optional white upholstery on mid and top trims.
Standard kit includes a 10.25-inch digital cluster, 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen, wireless Android Auto/CarPlay, keyless entry, and automatic wipers. Optional extras include a dual-pane sunroof, gesture-controlled tailgate, 360° camera, digital rear-view mirror, heated/ventilated seats, and a premium audio system.
In the US, Limited and Overland trims will arrive later this year, while Cherokee and Laredo will be available from early 2026. For India, the new Cherokee is unlikely to launch soon, with Jeep focusing on Compass, Meridian, Grand Cherokee, and Wrangler.
