Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the new flagship SUV for its Arena range of vehicles — the Victoris — and here are the top things to know about it.
The Victoris looks eerily similar to the Grand Vitara in terms of its overall structure. It gets segmented rear lights and front lights that are connected via a chrome strip. The SUV also offers two designs for the alloy wheels.
The Victoris is a five-seater car, and gets soft-touch materials on the dashboard and multiple options for the interior upholstery including dual-tone ones.
The Victoris happens to be the first Maruti car in India to get Level-2 ADAS and an 8-speaker Harman sound system with Dolby Atmos. Other key features include a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, auto-dimming IRVM, six airbags as standard, 8-way powered driver’s seat, and more.
The SUV also happens to be the second Maruti car to get a 5-star safety rating at the Bharat NCAP crash tests after the new Maruti Dzire.
Maruti has put in the same powertrains as that on the Grand Vitara, which include a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine with the option of a CNG kit, and a 1.5-litre strong hybrid engine sourced from Toyota. It also gets an AWD option, and the CNG kit is mounted under the body rather than in the boot.
