The next-gen Honda Amaze images surfaced online recently, where the Honda Amaze was seen heavily camouflaged. As per reports, the next-gen Amaze will debut in India by December 2024, whereas its launch is likely to take place in January 2025.
Resting some speculations, spy shots of this next-gen Honda Amaze provide some clarification. As per the images, the rear profile has not changed much but shows smoky-finished tail lamps.
Some details in the spied images show the presence of a shark fin antenna, reverse parking camera, and three individual headrests for the rear bench seat. It seems like the new Amaze will also offer a lane watch camera attached to its left-side ORVM, like the Honda City and Elevate, but the images do not show that clearly.
The next-gen Honda Amaze is likely to offer a revamped dashboard design featuring new design elements with new features such as a wireless smartphone charger, standard six airbags, a lane-watch camera, a new digital instrument cluster, and more.
Reports suggest that the next-generation Honda Amaze will be built on a new platform, like the one used on Honda City and Elevate, with some modifications to make it more cost-effective for the Honda Amaze. Although there is no concrete evidence on this.
The all-new next-gen Honda Amaze is expected to continue to carry the same 1.2-litre normal petrol engine. However, Honda can tune the engine for better response and power delivery while also offering better fuel efficiency than before, confirmed by the presence of emission testing equipment on the Amaze test car.
The Honda Amaze competes in the sub-compact sedan segment and faces several rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura, Ford Aspire, Tata Tigor, and Altroz.
