As we reported earlier, Renault India has finally introduced a CNG powertrain option with its sub-compact SUV—the Kiger.
Renault is offering the Kiger CNG as a dealer-level fitment opposed to the factory-fitted option of other carmakers.
Like the standard model, the Kiger CNG is also offered with a 3 year/1,00,000 km warranty, whichever comes first.
The Renault Kiger CNG has been priced at a premium of Rs 79,500 over the standard model, whereas the other CNG cars command a premium of Rs 95,000 - Rs 1 lakh.
It is worth mentioning that the Kiger CNG is only available with the normal petrol manual variants of the SUV. The carmaker is yet to share the specifications of the CNG powertrain.
The Kiger CNG will initially be available in 5 states across India that are Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, and Maharashtra. Soon, it will be available across the country.
