The new Tata Nexon iCNG will be launched in September 2024 with deliveries expected to begin after a few weeks of the launch.
Tata Nexon CNG might get some exclusive colour shades to distinguish it from other versions without any major changes made to the exterior styling of the SUV.
The Tata Nexon CNG will retain its interior design, featuring a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, cruise control, a sunroof, push-button start/stop, automatic climate control, and more.
The Tata Nexon will likely feature the same 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder turbocharged engine found in the petrol variants, making it the first-ever CNG vehicle in India to offer a turbocharged engine paired with a manual transmission.
We expect that the price of Tata Nexon CNG will come with an additional premium of approximately Rs 1 lakh compared to the standard petrol variants. Tata Nexon iCNG will rival cars like the Maruti Brezza CNG in India.
Once launched, the Nexon will be the only car in India with multiple powertrain options including petrol, diesel, and CNG, along with multiple gearbox choices and an all-electric variant.
