2025 Tata Nexon EV Empowered Plus A launched

Tata Motors has launched a new Nexon EV trim in India—the Empowered Plus A. It comes equipped with Level 2 ADAS and sits above the previous top-end variant, the Empowered Plus.

Tata Nexon EV Empowered Plus A features — What's new?

The Tata Nexon EV Empowered Plus A gets no changes to its exterior or interior and carries over the full feature list from the Empowered Plus variant. What it does get are a few useful additions: multi-mood ambient lighting on the dashboard and all four doors, a rear window sunshade, and driver drowsiness detection.

Tata Nexon EV Empowered Plus A Level 2 ADAS features

The Tata Nexon EV Empowered Plus A gets level 2 ADAS features, including traffic sign recognition, lane centring, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, forward collision warning for pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles, autonomous emergency braking, and high beam assist.

Tata Nexon EV Empowered Plus A Dark & Red #DARK Editions launched

Alongside the regular Tata Nexon EV Empowered Plus A, Tata has also launched the #DARK edition, which comes with an all-black exterior and interior. The red #DARK of the same trim comes with a black exterior featuring red accents on the wheels, while the interior gets a dual red and black theme. It’s priced just Rs 20,000 higher than the standard model.

Tata Nexon EV Empowered Plus A price

The Tata Nexon EV Empowered Plus A is priced at Rs 17.29 lakh. The Empowered Plus A 45 #DARK and Empowered Plus A 45 Red #DARK editions are both priced slightly higher, at Rs 17.49 lakh each.

Tata Nexon EV Empowered Plus A 45 specs

The Tata Nexon EV 45kWh produces 150PS of power and 215Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.9 seconds & has a claimed range of 489km. However, the Creative+, Fearless+, & Fearless+S variants do not come with this battery option.
