Tata Tiago EV, the electric version of the Tiago hatchback, has been one of Tata’s top-selling electric vehicles in India. It was launched two years ago, in September 2022.
The electric hatchback has gathered over 50,000 units of sales since its launch. Tata sold 10,000 Tiago EVs within the first four months only.
The Tiago EV comes in two broad powertrain configurations — Medium Range (MR) and Long Range (LR). The specifications of both these powertrains are given in the table above.
Tata Tiago features include an 8-speaker sound system, rain-sensing wipers, auto-dimming IRVM, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, reverse parking camera, follow-me-home headlamps, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and more.
The Tata Tiago EV price in India ranges from Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the XE MR variant to Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the XZ+ Tech Lux LR variant.
The Tata Tiago EV competitors include the MG Comet EV, the new MG Windsor EV, and the Citroen eC3. There’s a compact sedan version of the Tiago EV in the market too, called the Tigor EV.
