After opening its first Indian dealership in Mumbai, Tesla is set to launch a new dealership in Delhi on August 11, 2025. The showroom will be located in Worldmark Aerocity, near Indira Gandhi International Airport, a prime spot for luxury brands.
The Tesla Model Y will be the company’s first model for India, available in Standard RWD (Rs 59.89 lakh) and Long Range RWD (Rs 67.89 lakh) variants. A Full Self-Driving package will also be offered as a future software update for an additional Rs 6 lakh.
Customers can book the Model Y with an initial token of Rs 22,000, followed by a Rs 3 lakh booking confirmation within 7 days.
The Model Y features two battery options (capacity undisclosed). The Standard RWD offers 500 km WLTP range, while the Long Range RWD provides 622 km WLTP range. The Long Range variant accelerates 0–100 km/h in 5.6 seconds, 0.3 seconds quicker than the standard version.
Tesla has yet to detail its full charging infrastructure for India but confirmed Supercharger support, enabling 267 km of range in 15 minutes using a 250 kW charger. Initial Superchargers will be set up in Mumbai, with expansion plans expected.
