Good driving dynamics

Quality of materials

The interior layout of the Kushaq is nice but the quality of materials used is subpar. The fit and finish levels aren’t too good either, especially when you compare it to Skoda cars of the past.

Rear seat space

While legroom and headroom are just enough, the cabin is narrow, which makes it best suited for two people. Accommodating three wouldn’t be comfortable on longer journeys.

Questionable DSG gearbox

The 1.5-litre engine comes mated to a dual-clutch gearbox, which is the same DQ200 unit that has been infamous for causing issues across VW Group’s cars. While the issues might have reduced overtime, the reliability of the said transmission is still questionable.
