Closely following the launch of the new Kia Carens Clavis, the South Korean carmaker has launched an electric version of the MPV. Here are five features that the Clavis EV gets over its ICE counterpart.
The Clavis EV gets a new floating centre console with extra storage, which also frees up space in the first row. The gear lever has been shifted to the steering column.
Kia offers V2L capability on the Clavis EV, enabling users to charge other devices directly from the car’s battery.
As is the case with other popular electric cars in India, the Carens EV gets aerodynamic alloy wheels that aren’t available on the ICE Carens.
With the engine thrown out, Kia has managed to make space beneath the bonnet for some luggage, 25 litres of it to be precise.
At the front, you get to see active air flaps that either aid in cooling the propulsion system, or reduce drag.
