Upcoming Hyundai Verna facelift 2026

Hyundai India has plans to launch 26 new cars and SUVs in India over the next five years, one of which is likely to be a facelifted version of the current gen Verna sedan. Here are five things to expect from the new Hyundai Verna facelift.

Tweaked exterior

While no major change is expected on the exterior, there might be a few tweaks that are common for facelifts, including reprofiled bumpers, a tweaked front grille, and new alloy wheels. The polarising front lightbar might be done away with, though there’s no certainty around the same.

Tweaked interior

Yup, not much change expected on that front either, the current one works perfectly well, thank you.

Added features

Speaking of features, Hyundai might throw in a few more such as dual-zone climate control, and powered co-passenger seat. We do not expect wireless smartphone connectivity, unless Hyundai decides to put in the larger touchscreen.

Same powertrain options

The same powertrain options as the current model are likely to be carried over to the facelift. These include a 1.5-litre NA petrol paired to a 6-speed manual or a CVT, and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol paired to a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT.

No Hyundai Verna N-Line

Hyundai has confirmed in the past that there would be no N-Line for the Verna, so don’t expect it to come with the facelift either.
