Kia has launched the Carens Clavis EV in India, and here are five things to know about this new electric MPV.
It gets the same powertrain options as the Hyundai Creta Electric, which include a 135PS motor with a 42kWh battery pack, and a 171PS motor with a 51.4kWh battery pack.
ARAI-claimed range, as per the MIDC cycles, stands at 404km with the smaller battery pack, and 490km with the larger one.
Key Kia Carens Clavis EV features include Level-2 ADAS, boss mode, one-touch tumbling second row seats, V2L capability, 8-speaker Bose sound system, blind spot monitors, and more.
Based on the ICE Carens Clavis, it shares most of its design cues with the MPV. Key changes include differently styled alloy wheels, a revised front end, floating centre console, and a steering–monuted gear selector.
