MG has launched its first premium electric car in India, the MG M9, and here are five things to know about it.
The MG M9 will be the carmaker’s first product that will be sold via its new network of MG Select premium dealerships, with 13 such showrooms currently present across major cities in India.
Powered by a 90kWh battery pack paired to a 245PS electric motor, the claimed MG M9 range stands at 548 kilometres, as per the MIDC testing cycles.
Some key features of the van include 16-way powered second-row captain seats with massage, ventilation, and heating functions, three-zone climate control, Level-2 ADAS, V2V and V2L capabilities, JBL sound system, and more.
Available in a single variant option, the MG M9 is priced at Rs 69.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). MG is offering three colour options on the MPV — Pearl Lustre White, Metal Black, and Concrete Grey.
Bookings for the electric MPV are live, and can be made against a token amount of Rs 1 lakh. Deliveries are scheduled to begin from August 10, 2025.
