The Vision X is one of the four new Mahindra concept SUVs revealed at this year’s Independence Day, and here are five things to know about it.
The Vision X is based on Mahindra’s new NU_IQ platform that supports ICE, electric, and hybrid powertrains, with capability of accommodating both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations.
The Vision X is the most distinct of all the four concept SUVs in the sense that it is not an off-road focused, but an urban-focused vehicle, with softer styling cues, and regular tyres.
The inside features a dual-screen setup on the dashboard with an elongated rectangular shape for the steering wheel.
It is unclear as of now whether the Vision X will join the XUV lineup of ICE SUVs, or the XEV lineup of electric SUVs. It could also come with hybrid setups.
The exact Mahindra Vision X launch date is yet to be revealed, though it is expected to be here no sooner than 2027.
