Toyota Kirloskar Motor reported 27,324 unit dispatches in April 2025, achieving a 33% year-on-year growth. This included 24,833 domestic units and 2,491 export units.
The impressive growth came despite the plant maintenance shutdown between April 21 and April 25, showcasing Toyota’s efficient production planning and sustained demand for its vehicles.
Toyota achieved its highest-ever fiscal year sales in FY 2024-25, with 3,37,148 units sold, up 28% from 2,63,512 units in FY 2023-24. This growth was largely driven by a 35% surge in SUV and MPV sales.
Strong sales of legacy models like the Fortuner and Land Cruiser LC300, along with shared models like the Urban Cruiser Hyryder and Taisor, significantly contributed to the annual growth.
Toyota’s exports surged 59% YoY in FY2024-25, reflecting its "Make in India for the world" strategy. Growth was also supported by expansion into tier-2 and tier-3 cities and improvements in customer service through T CARE, T GLOSS, and Toyota Mobility Solutions.
