There are many upcoming MPV launches in India that are grabbing attention. While some are brand-new models entering the segment for the first time, others are facelifts of existing offerings. Coming from the stables of Nissan, Renault, and MG, these MPVs are expected to launch between 2025 and 2026, bringing more choice to the growing MPV space.
The Kia Carens Clavis EV is all set to launch on 15th July. It is expected to be underpinned by the same platform as the Hyundai Creta EV, which comes with 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh battery options. The Clavis EV is likely to feature a single-motor setup and will carry over key design cues from its ICE counterpart.
The MG M9 electric MPV launch is expected to take place in July, with pre-bookings already underway since May 2025. This all-electric MPV will come equipped with a 90 kWh battery, offering a claimed range of up to 430 km. Powering it is an electric motor that delivers 244 PS and 350 Nm of torque. The MG M9 will be sold exclusively through the brand’s premium MG Select showrooms.
In the list of upcoming MPVs in India, the Renault Triber facelift also finds its place. Test mules have been spotted multiple times, hinting at active development, with the launch likely to take place in the later months of this year. No major changes are expected under the hood, but noticeable updates to the design and interior are strongly anticipated. We're also expecting new feature additions to make the Triber facelift even more appealing in its segment.
Nissan has recently unveiled details about its upcoming launches, and among them, the Nissan Compact MPV has been confirmed for an India debut in the first quarter of 2026. It will be built on the Renault-Nissan Alliance’s CMF-A+ platform, which also underpins the Triber model. The Nissan Compact MPV is expected to arrive with a refreshed exterior design and a completely new interior, offering a more modern and feature rich experience.
