Tata Motors launched the Punch back in 2021, and the car is due for a facelift, with it completing almost four years of sales in India.
Ahead of the car’s official launch, test mules have been spied a couple of times under camouflage, hinting at a few design changes.
As seen in the spy shots, the upcoming Tata Punch is likely to get a set of connected tail lights, which is a rising trend in the industry. The facelift is also expected to get new headlights, new bumpers, and a new design for the alloy wheels.
The interior is also expected to undergo some changes such as featuring Tata’s two-spoke steering wheel with the illuminated logo and a few added features.
We expect no changes on the powertrain front, with the car retaining its 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that can be had with a manual or an AMT. The Tata Punch CNG is also expected to continue as is.
The upcoming Tata Punch facelift launch in India is expected to take place by the end of this year, though the carmaker is yet to release an official date.
