Audi India has just launched the facelifted Q7 in India, featuring some changes and enhancements over the existing model. What’s new on the updated Audi Q7? Find out in the following slides.
The most significant changes come in the styling aspect, with a new front grille that features lots of vertically arranged chrome elements and a chrome outline. The new Q7 gets Audi’s matrix LED headlamps. The rear gets new tail lights that are joined with a thin chrome bar, while the side profile remains unchanged.
The interior layout remains identical to the outgoing model. Key Audi Q7 facelift features include four-zone automatic climate control, lane keeping assist, a premium surround system from Bang & Olufsen, 8 airbags, Audi’s MMI display, and more. Wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay is still missing on the new Audi Q7.
The updated Audi Q7 retains the 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol engine from the current model, which comes paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain produces 345PS of maximum power and 500Nm of max torque. The Q7 also comes with Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system.
The Audi Q7 facelift is being offered in five exterior colour options — Glacier White, Mythos Black, Samurai Grey, Sakhur Gold, and Waitomo Blue. The interior can be specced in either Cedar Brown or Saiga Beige.
The Audi Q7 facelift is being offered at a price of Rs 88.66 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the Premium Plus variant, and Rs 97.81 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the Technology variant. It is a lot cheaper than its main rivals in India such as the BMW X7 and Mercedes-Benz GLS.
