VinFast has made its debut in the Indian market with the launch of its first two electric SUVs — VinFast VF6 and VinFast VF7. Here are top things to know about the new VinFast VF6.
The VF6 is available with a single battery pack option, which is a 59.6kWh unit. It comes paired to a front-mounted single motor that puts out 177PS and 250Nm on the base variant, and 201PS and 310Nm on the higher-spec variants.
Claimed range figures as per ARAI stand at 468km for the variant with the 177PS motor, and 463km for the variants with the 201PS motor.
Similar to the VF7, the VF6 features V-shaped lightbars at the front and rear. It sits on 18-inch alloy wheels, gets a ground clearance of 190mm, and is offered in six colour options — red, black, silver, grey, green, and white.
The dashboard features a large 12.9-inch touchscreen unit that’s tilted towards the driver, and a head-up display replaces a traditional instrument cluster. Key features include Level-2 ADAS, 360-degree cameras, ventilated front seats, and more.
The VF6 directly rivals other electric SUVs like the Tata Curvv EV, Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra BE 6, and MG ZS EV. Prices for all VinFast VF6 variants are mentioned in the table above.
