Tata H7X summary

The TATA H7X will more or less take cues from the 5-seater Harrier and have a stunning design.

The car will flaunt diamond cut alloys, Xenon hid projector headlamps, stunning LED taillamps, and oak brown interiors for an exquisite look.

H7X is all set to get a 1983 cc Fiat Diesel engine with a 6-speed transmission unit.

H7X has a Diesel engine that produces a maximum power of 140 PS and a peak torque of 350 Nm. This makes the car sufficiently powerful and beautifully nimble.

There are high chances that the H7X will also be offered to Indian car enthusiasts with an automatic transmission.

The amazing 7-seater also flaunts the 425-litres boot space that will house all your needs whenever you go on a trip with your family.

The car will be given luxury, and even the gear shift knob will have a leather wrap.

H7X might also get an attractive shark fin antenna and a panoramic sunroof, apart from all these amazing features.

Leaping forward, Tata will most probably offer a chrome finish on the entire car, making it easy on the eyes.

If you love listening to music while driving, then rest assured, the Tata H7X is undoubtedly going to give you a great time. It will have an amazing 9-JBL speaker. It will include 4 speakers, 1 subwoofer with an amplifier, and 4 tweeters.

There are many other amazing things that will be included in the car, but to be certain about all the offerings, we will have to wait for some time.

Tata H7X LATEST UPDATES

After their launch of Harrier, a luxury SUV, Tata has confirmed their launch of H7X, which will be a similar car but in a different segment. But mostly, it will be a similar machine with a 7-seater version. The brand will launch this car in the last quarter of 2021, which currently looks unlikely. This car will be sharing the same Omega Arc platform, just like the Harrier. But multiple sources have also confirmed that this car will be 62 mm longer than the standard Harrier.

This 7-seater SUV will have three rows and share a powerful 2.0 (1983 cc) Fiat Diesel engine. The same engine that is used in Harrier and also in Jeep Compass. According to the experts, this 2-litre motor will be making a maximum power of 140PS and a peak torque of 350 Nm. This powerful engine is paired with a smooth 6-speed manual transmission unit. We can also expect TATA to be a bit generous and offer a 6-speed automatic transmission unit with this engine. When the TATA H7X is launched, it will go head-on with the Mahindra XUV500, MG Hector and would also go against the likes of 5-seater Harrier as an option. You can expect the price of this car to be somewhere between Rs.13-15 lacs ex-showroom.

Tata H7X PRO’s & CON’s

  • Things We Like
  • Things we don’t like

Being a 7-seater, Tata has given an extension of 62mm, which will increase the in-cabin space and make it a good SUV.

It comes with a powerful engine that makes a decent power that won’t be overwhelming for the driver.

It has a lot of features that make it a good overall car. Also, the dimensions and overall look of the exteriors are amazing.

The powerful Fiat Engine is paired with an intelligent and smooth gearbox.

Tata is one of the most reliable brands in the Indian passenger car market in terms of safety, and the build quality of H7X will be top-notch without a doubt.

The cabin will be feature-loaded and will also flaunt an electronic sunroof.

Knowing that diesel will cost more with BS6 norms, Tata should have offered a petrol engine.

Being a luxury SUV, the fit and finish of the car might become a con because it will be highly identical to the Tata Harrier.

Although you get power steering in Harrier, it remains hard to manoeuvre. The same can be expected for H7X.

If we compare it with MG Hector and other competitors, there can be a lot of features that would be missed in the H7X.

There can be chances of NVH in the long run as it is a Diesel engine.

The infotainment systems have always been a drawback of all the Tata machines, and there are high chances that the odds would remain the same with H7X.

Tata H7X EXPERT REVIEWS

Tata H7X is going to be a game-changer for a lot of cars. It will surely make its presence felt as soon as it gets launched in the Indian car market. There is a lot of uncertainty as to what will be offered and what will not. But being an extension to the 5-seater Harrier, many things will be similar. Experts hope that the problems people face with Harrier might be solved in this car, but nothing can be said for sure. You can also expect the H7X to be approximately 1 lacs higher than the Harrier for all the good reasons.

It is also believed that this car has some revolutionary tech installed, but how it will pan out, in the end, will still be a mystery. It might be possible that the brand offers a torque converter with the 2.0L powerful engine, but the manual is something to be sure of.
