BMW M4 Competition
The BMW M4 Competition is a high-performance coupe that is among the most serious performers in the M range. It offers a mix of race-ready performance and enough luxury to compare to a 3-Series. With its aggressive stance, flared wheel arches, quad exhausts, and massive kidney grilles, the M4 Competition looks bold and sporty. Powering the coupe is a twin-turbocharged straight-six engine that delivers supercar-rivalling performance.

The BMW M4 Competition is priced at ₹1.56 crore (ex-showroom) in India. The on-road price varies depending on the state, with Delhi pricing at approximately ₹1.75 crore and Mumbai slightly higher at ₹1.81 crore. As a CBU import, the M4 Competition commands a premium, but it justifies the cost through its strong performance, plush cabin, and high brand value.

The M4 Competition features a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged inline-six engine, tuned to produce 510 hp and 650 Nm of torque. It comes paired with an 8-speed M Steptronic transmission and BMW’s xDrive all-wheel-drive system. It also gets adaptive M suspension, active M differential, M carbon exterior package, and M-specific brakes. Inside, the M4 has M Sport seats, carbon trim, and a head-up display.

The BMW M4 Competition xDrive can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, which is comparable to many supercars out there. Its electronically limited top speed is 250 km/h, which can be increased to 290 km/h with the optional M Driver’s Package.

In India, the BMW M4 Competition locks horns with performance coupes like the Mercedes-AMG C63 S E Performance, Audi RS5 Sportback, and to some extent, the Porsche 911 Carrera.
