The Hyundai Inster EV is a micro SUV that is based on the Casper but comes with an electric powertrain. Designed for urban mobility, it features a modern design with compact dimensions and a feature-loaded cabin, along with providing a real-world driving range of somewhere between 300-350 km on a full charge. The Inster is the smallest electric vehicle in Hyundai’s lineup but it has been developed based on the experience gathered from working on the bigger models like the Ioniq 5.
While we are yet to get any concrete details on the Hyundai Inster EV India launch prospects, the fast-growing demand for small EVs in our country could lead to the arrival of this small car by late 2025 or early 2026. The Hyundai Inster EV will likely come with a fast-charging option, many safety features, and a fully loaded cabin. If launched in India, it will compete primarily with the Tata Punch EV.
