The Hyundai Venue has established itself as a strong contender in the sub-4-metre SUV segment of the Indian car market. While the current model is still performing well, Hyundai Motor India is reportedly gearing up for the debut of the next-generation model. While official details remain limited, spy shots and leaked information suggest that the upcoming Venue will feature bold styling updates, improved cabin features, and possibly electrified powertrain options. This next-gen iteration is expected to build on the strengths of the current model while benefitting from the carmaker’s global design language and tech upgrades.

Once launched, the next-generation Hyundai Venue is expected to carry a slight price premium over the current model, owing to its updated features, better safety tech, and possibly a hybrid option. We expect the ex-showroom prices to start around ₹8 lakh. The top-end model could cost in excess of ₹14.5 lakh. Although Hyundai has not officially confirmed a launch timeline, several reports suggest a possible unveiling in late 2025/early 2026.

Upon launch, the next-gen Hyundai Venue will continue to compete in the hotly contested sub-4-metre SUV market of India. Key rivals will include the Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, and Mahindra XUV3X0. In higher trims, it will also challenge the entry level variants of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. With the car buyers increasingly getting safety-focused and feature-driven, the new Venue is expected to offer substantial upgrades to retain its edge against the highly capable competitors.
