Mahindra had launched its first two electric SUVs in India a few months ago, with three broad trims and two battery pack options — 59kWh and 79kWh.
Earlier exclusive to the top-spec variants of both the cars, the 79kWh battery pack has now been made more accessible, and is offered on the mid-spec Pack Two variants of the XEV 9e and BE 6.
Prices for the Mahindra XEV 9e with the 79kWh battery pack start at Rs 26.50 lakh for the Pack Two trim, and go up till Rs 30.50 lakh for the Pack Three trim. Both prices are ex-showroom, India.
Prices for the Mahindra BE 6 with the 79kWh battery pack start at Rs 23.50 lakh for the Pack Two trim, and go up till Rs 26.90 lakh for the Pack Three trim. Both prices are ex-showroom, India.
AC chargers have to be purchased separately, and cost Rs 50,000 for the 7.2kW charger, and Rs 75,000 for the 11.2kWh charger.
Deliveries for the Pack Two variants will begin from the end of July, with those for the Pack One variants starting from August. Pack Three variants have already started reaching customers.
